where are you based ?

My proper 'base' is Athens these days, but I travel a lot !

what kind of person are you ?

I love good food in all its forms, good wine, good tea, good gin, good company; I appreciate politeness and kindness; I am always fond of talking about art and philosophy; I find sports very boring but I do endorse sometimes; I am a funny guy but I guess some will find my sense of humor a bit eccentric; I hate violence in all its forms and I particularly hate been told what to do or how to feel - this really upsets me..

do you consider your work .. ? do you consider yourself .. ?

I am not interested in labeling what I do or who I am. I just do whatever intrigues me at any given time or try to make the best out of any given situation.

are you interested in writing music for .. or writing code for .. or desiging sound for .. ? or .. ?

would you perform at our venue/festival ? what are your terms ?  

If you can guarantee that my technical requirements are all met and that I will have a good time being there I will. However you need to cover all my travel/accomodation expenses, food per diem, an artist fee and make sure my work is presented in an appropriate context.  

we run an small indepedent space and would like to invite you, but we really cannot afford paying expenses/fees - would you play for free or for door money only ?

Normally I will not play for free unless for very exceptional cases, but I might perform for door money. Contact me to discuss options.

would you participate in our festival dedicated to ...  ?

No. I do not like participating in events that are not 100% dedicated to art per se. Normally I will not participate to anything that deals with politics, charities, or some other cause. Not that I am not interested in these - just that I do not want to mix art with other matters.

what is your artist fee  ?

It depends. It is better to discuss this privately.

where can I find your cds  ?

Check each label' s site (there are links everywhere in this site) or contact me directly in case I have spare copies.

can I play some piece of yours in my radio show / blog ?

Of course, as long as the context is appropriate. I' d appreciate it, though, if you let me know. Also keep in mind that I am not represented by some company so if you plan to pay royalties they should be paid directly to me.

Of course you can ! 

I think your music/art is awful. why do you do this ? why don' t you do that instead ?

Because I obviously do not share your opinion; as a mater of fact I do find what I do intriguing enough to dedicate the greatest part my life to it.. so please spare a few moments to consider your arrogancy..

I was in a concert of yours the other day and instead of 'music' I was exposed to some weird-noises/strange-sounds/whatever. Is this a joke or sth ? 

Nope, that's not a joke. Next time you should consider reading the program notes more carefully before you end up 'decontextualised'..

I was in a concert/exhibition of yours the other day which was too loud or too intense or whatever  - this is really dangerous ! 

Well, no - it is no more dangerous than being in an average dance-club or an average rock concert or attending an orchestral performance of Beethoven's 9th - at least as far as SPL is concerned and as long as you don't have any particular health issues (epilepsy, psychosis, hearing sensitivity, etc).

I do use facebook. I had a myspace account but I no longer use it and should be probably cancelled by now. No twitter. I do have started a couple of blogs in the past but I do not even remember the passwords.. I have a linkedIn account but I do not use it that often.
